The magic of Sinterklaas returns to Van der Valk Amersfoort-A1! After an unforgettable edition last year, where hundreds of children enjoyed a festive afternoon full of treats, music, and of course a visit from Sinterklaas and his Pieten, we look forward to celebrating the most wonderful time of the year together again this year.

4 & 5 December
Celebrate Sinterklaas with the whole family during our special Sinterklaas Live Cooking Dinner on December 4 & 5! Enjoy an extensive buffet with plenty of choices for young and old, while our chefs prepare the most delicious dishes live.
Join in, enjoy all the treats, and celebrate the delightful evening with our Piets. Of course, they will be present during Live Cooking for a generous dose of fun!
Live cooking brunch
Sunday 6 December
Even on Sunday, the Sinterklaas celebration continues. During our Live Cooking brunch, children can bake pepernoten themselves. Meanwhile, you can enjoy a lavish brunch together with plenty of choices for young and old. Even though Sinterklaas and his Pieten are now on their way back to Spain, the coziness remains with us for a little longer.

Amersfoort
Also in 2026, Sinterklaas will of course visit Amersfoort again! During the annual Sinterklaas arrival, Sint and his Pieten are festively welcomed in the city. Along the route, there is plenty of cheer, music, and entertainment for young and old. A fun outing to fully enjoy the Sinterklaas atmosphere and together anticipate the evening of gifts.
